The Mumbai stop-over happened to be a huge success! Along with the scintillating line up of cars, there were also a few other fun stalls for people to engage with. Tattoo artists, painters and even a Big FM stall made up the same to keep people enough entertained. As people entered the carpeted area of the set-up, the aroma from the food stalls engulfed them, captivating a lot of people! But one look at the cars on display and food would definitely take a back-seat! The first stall consisted of the Fortuner, Innova and other larger-than-life cars to blow your mind with their monstrous presence. Right after, came the Etios Hatchback followed by the Etios Sedan. The line-up finished off with the Corolla Altis CNG and other, The Prius Hybrid, The Corolla Petrol and The Camry on display. We have to admit this section too the cake away Dealer stalls to address any questions that you may have are surely part of this set-up, but there may not be a need for the same as the hostesses and the Dealer representatives ensure you get your fill with the amount they usher you around to seat you or let you try out the car and the eagerness with which they address any questions that you may have. The stop-over finishes up with a section that displays Toyota Accessories for the Fortuner which includes Leg Room Lamps, Cargo Nets, Luggage Trays, Roof Carriers, Roof Racks and a lot more! Also on display in this stall is what created the most amount of buzz at all our stop-overs: The AVX and Navigation systems. These come in three variants that differ in functionality, the most advanced variant of which can actually be detached from its set up and carried around like wireless GPS. A little birdie told us, these systems, that are slated to launch in Europe first, are to be priced anywhere between 50k-90k+. These Panasonic systems are expected to create a furor in the Accessories market. Raghav and Shahzneen entertained the audience with their power-packed performances and the set-up finished off with a cozy little press room enclosed at the other end of the MMRDA grounds. All in all, a good show, post which Toyota packed up and headed towards Ahmedabad for their next stop-over. Do make sure to head over to the Toyota Q World when the Etios stops over at your city! |
